"Once Was Lost But Now I'm Found!"
Taken from the new non-fiction series, The Adventures of Robin! Yes, last week we were filling out the paperwork for Robin's new passport. As you recall, she lost her original! This is Robin who never loses anything (yes, I must admit that I was gloating a little). Even after re applying, I was asking our father to allow someone to find it and turn it in. Most of the people we had talked to said it probably wouldn't happen. Monday morning I was in language study when Robin recieved a phone call from the US Consulate office saying that a lady with the VN Office of Foreign Labor had found her passport. Robin called the lady and sure enough she had it! Robin asked if it was going to cost us and the lady said yes but would not say how much. On our way to pick up the passport we stopped for lunch and asked again that we be shown favor (not the Joel Osteen kind!) and mercy. When we finally found the lady's office not only did she not ask for any money but she wouldn't take any when Robin offered it! Wow! Isn't our Daddy good! We both began language study this week. We have tutors for two hours a day, five days a week! We are starting to sense some progress, but we have so far to go! The boys also study Vietnamese at school 2-3 days a week. I'm sure they will catch on a lot quicker. We've included a few pics from this week, but I'm not going to take time to provide any sub titles. Why? Because I'm "toit met!"
